Germantown, Md...I was in 8th grade math class...and ppl kept gettin called to the office to go home...I was like wtf is really going on? Then my teacher turned on the news...and we saw what was happening...I thank God bc my dad worked at the pentagon and he didn't go to work that day...praying for the ppl who lost loved ones on this day bc it could have been me....
I was 25. I was folding laudry and watching the Today show. Matt Lauer was interviewing an author and they interrupted to say that the first tower had been hit. We all thought it was a small plane accident at first. He was talking to a witness in a nearby building and while she was live on the air talking the second plane hit. I stopped everything and went straight to Jessica's school and picked her up. I listened to the radio the whole way there and it was clear by then that America was under attack. Once I got home with Jessica, I just cried and prayed as I watched the towers fall. It was a horrifying day.

I was sitting in Spanish class in high school. A bunch of teachers were roaming the halls and one teacher started crying. we had no idea what was going on. then just before 10a a teacher popped her head in to talk to our teacher and when our teacher returned she looked at all of us and said "none of you have any family members who work in NYC, do you?" weirded out and with no one saying they do she turned on the tv in the classroom and we were all so confused. all we saw was a bunch of people running around like crazy, crying, and the towers crashed down. i still didn't have ANY idea what happened until i got out of school, then out of marching band practice and saw my bf (now hubby) and saw the news. Seeing as we were only several miles from the intended Columbus, Ohio target so many people were crying.
I was in my 7th grade class They turned on the news and we saw the first tower collapse my grandparents picked me up n I went to there house. While I was in class it felt like the build shook for a little n I also saw it out the window of my classroom

Seat Pleasant, MD I was in 9th grade at 3rd period lunch wen i found out wat was going on.... they tried not to tell the students to keep everyone calmed.... got to 4th period English & my teacher already had the tv on... then i got called to the office to go home... once i got home i sat on the porch with some of my neighborhood friends... afta abt 10mins we saw smoke passing over our houses from the crash at the pentagon (i live abt 20mins from there) it was VERY scary Praying for the families that have lost love ones on this day ten years ago....
