Have my induction date and a sitter for my older two kids!

So i found out about 2 weeks ago that my induction date will be 10/13 4 days before my due date! Well went to my mil today and asked her if my kids could stay the night for a few nights and hang for a few days and she said that she would take my two kids! Something you guys should know about my mil is that she currently watches my sis in laws 3 kids so her taking my 2 means that during the day she will have 5 kids under the age of 5! So thankful she is willing to help!

    It's great that you have one less worry now! My brother booked some time off work to watch my 2 year old so my husband can be at the hospital. It's definitely a huge relief!

    Yea now if only my little princess will work with us and stay in that long! And of course if there's no medical reason for me to have her earlier! But just glad that my mil will help if my little girl works with me! But otherwise my hubby may not be in the room and i would hate for him to miss his daughters birth! Plus i really need him! After all who else am i going to yell at for. "Doing this to me". Haha jk

    I'm mad my Dr wouldn't give me an induction date.... How did you get yours? I'm jealous lol! Lucky lady!

    i just asked cause i have no family close and our closest family is an hour away and i told her it would just be a little easier if i could plan something with my family so i could have my kids somewhere so my hubby could be in the room and not in the waiting room or even at home with our older two kids!

    exactly! Just have to hope she is more like my first who was 1 day early vs my second who was 2 weeks early!

    @mommyb3 I said almost the same thing! I have absolutly no family here and my mom and sister are flying in from out if state... I asked cause I want my mom to be there and to help me since I'm a ftm... When I asked she looked at me like I was crazy and said its not safe to induce for no medical reason and then told me my mom and sister should have bought later tickets.... Ugh!

    thats not good. Sorry your doctor is being a pain! I never asked with my 1st two but i also had family a block away so it never crossed my mind. But since our last we moved and a new doctor so just glad she understood! Do you have a male or female? I think that female doctors understand more!

    @mommyb3 its a female Dr... I guess the closer I get ill try natural remedies to induce lol... Know of any good ones?

    Sadly I dont know any good ones other then what i have read on hear! The labor ball is one im going to try the night before my induction and sex worked with my last one! That way maybe i can get it going for an easier delivery! My kids are going to my in laws the evening before my induction thats why i plan to kinda help it along!
