  • Just go to the store buy some chicken fry and chicken....then get a skillet and oil ready and hot...make sure you let the oil get hot....then roll your chicken in the chicken fry then put it in the oil...macaroni and cheese is a good side dish too for fried chicken lol
  • yea im makin mac n cheese n biscuits tooo. idk wat chicken fry is but i planned on using seasoning and flour
  • Its better then flour I promise it makes it crispier lol...it should be like in the baking isle
  • My mom always puts garlic salt and flour on her chicken and its amazing
  • yes i my hubby loves fried chicken and i kinda mix it up each time just season it really good since your frying it some people even season the flower (optional) just dont go crazy um seasonings you can use lawrys seasoning salt, pepper, garlic powder, leamon pepper, if u want to add a little twist you can use paprika and some times i squeeze a little limon on them its really good of course you dont use all of these seasonings just the ones that sound good for you hope this helped
  • My friend made fried chicken for us for dinner once, she used crushed saltine crackers as breading... so you'd need chicken, egg/milk/pepper mixture to dip chicken in, then roll into the crushed crackers, fry it up & yum!
  • o yea good sides are mashed potatos, mac and cheese, corn on the cob, green beans etc.
  • make sure chicken is done some ppl cant tell if they are new to it just make sure its golden brown and that the juices run clear
  • thank you ladies!
  • Its easier to do strips. I live in alabama and that's all my family lives off of. Lol
    For strips-
Put the chicken in a bowl of buttermilk, let it sit for about 20 mins.
pour your grease get it heated up( I use 6 on my stove) if you cook it to fast, its dry, if you cook it to slow its to greasy.
While the grease heats up, get your flour ready. ( salt and pepper, maybe some garlic powder-for extra flavor)
When the grease is ready, flour the chicken. And then put it in the grease. It takes about 4 or 5 mins on both sides of the chicken strips. You'll know when they're done when they're a golden color. (I always cut it open to make sure.)
good luck. I hope I helped.
