My water broke at 33 weeks and 1 day!

So my water broke around 2am Monday morning. I've been in the hospital ever since. I'm scheduled to get induced Saturday morning, ok be 34 weeks. I'm nervous, scared an pray my son will be fine.

My first was born at 34 weeks for the same reason and only spent 10days in the nicu...prayers to you and baby!!

Aww thank you everyone. Yes I've had 3 different sets of steroids so he should be fine. I'm just so nervous.

My brother was born at 34 weeks and spent no time in the nicu went home when my mom did due to having the steroids. Only problem he had was with learning on to feed properly but he caught on quick. Good luck to you and wish u a safe delivery.

Wow good luck! May I ask y they scheduled to induce you? My doc won't even check me until I'm 38 wks n hasn't said a peep about inducing, but this is my first n i've had no problems yet. I'm 33 wks n 2 days today

@notready4thisagain4 ..my water started leaking Sunday morning ...been in hospital since still leaks no breakage not dilated no contractions I just turned 34 weeks did my last steroid shot yesterday n Sooooo ready..they are waiting to see if he comes on his own but he is chillaxing in the womb ..keep me tagged/posted GOOD BLESS U AND UR BABY WILL BE HERE SOON
..hopefully I can see what they plan on doing tomorrow for me...ugh

@alilboulding did ur water break? or leaked? any sign of labor? if not they usually wait for ur boss (baby lol) to make his /her exit on its own until ur overdue or otherwise.. good luck ..lots of...blessings

@alilboulding because they wanted to atleast keep him in me until 34weeks. My water broke. They say the baby is makin his own right now tho. They have me on antibotics to keep infection away. If he dosent come on his own before Saturday there gonna induce me because at 34 weeks the chance of infection is greater then the chance of his lungs not being developed. He's just chilling in the womb tho. Lol no real contractions, I'm dialated to a 2. 50% efaced. So I'm just waiting... Bein in this hospital us gonna drive me nuts. Lol

Well I had my son at exactly 34 weeks. He's doin very well. He's at hospital because he's not eating like he should from a bottle but he's improving everyday. They have a feeding tube in his nose. He's one week and 4 days. Hoping hell be ready to come home this weekend.
