being induced?

so im 39 weeks! due dates this sunday sep 18th!
my babys not out but hey theres still like 4 days left

but yeah my doctor talked about being induced before my due date and i
told her no :[ even tho i want to meet my baby boy i heard it hurts way more
to be induced.
has anyone been induced??

I'm due Sun too!!! How far along dilated are u? My doc suggested for me to be induced after the 18th. I'm thinking a week after (9/25) so at least it'll give me more time to dilate & possibly "pop" on my own lol. Let me know what u decide! I'm seeing my doc tomorrow to discuss our induction date :-/

Ahhh I'm so scared of bein induced! I'm at my drs now waitn to see if theyr wantn to schedule a induction date

My friend just had her baby and with the first it was all natural and she has been telling me it wasn't bad and all that and this one she was induced cause her fluid was leaking anyways she said it did hurt more cause all the hard contractions happen right away and u just have to wait until u can have ur epi which once she had that she was good but she said there was no such thing as like little contractions they all hurt so the whole time she was waiting for the epi.

I was induced the 8th w my bby boy n it was a good experience ..I was on oxytocin from 8:30 n had him at 1:57.. only pushed 6-8times! I got an epi when I was dilated 7tho.. cause I was dilating so fast it was hell!! But after epi was OK.. it didn't kick in all the way before I had to start pushing.. just took the edge off. But it still wasn't too bad. Good luck.
