ADVICE NEEDED

So...most of you know my situation..but..

I received a cervical ultrasound today and my cervix measured under .6cm.. I will be 32 weeks on friday... does anyone know the length of their cervix? And also does anyone have a guess about how much longer this cervix will hold out??

@homebirthadvocate you might know those answers.

Also, just to throw it out there, if I have ever offended or upset anyone at all please know it was not my intention and im truly sorry!

    Oh wow good luck they will probably put you on bedrest and give you steroid shots.

    @krazymomofadrian im offended you didn't know I was already on bedrest Haha j.k... but seriously I've been in the hospital since 16 weeks and have gotten the steroids... last week my cervix was 1cm and today it has dropped..

    @homebirthadvocate with a change so drastic do you think it will keep dropping that fast??

    I thought that you were, but I can't keep everybody straight jeez. I would just keep like you are doing and relax. Do they say you are gonna go into labor earlier. Try and keep that baby in for at least another 4 weeks, but at this rate I doubt it. Better pick out names and get ready lol. Good luck hun, keep us updated.

    @krazykrazymomofadrian I am hoping I make it to 34 (that's when my daughter was born) and doc is hoping for 36 baby is already weighing eve 4lbs according to the us..I know that's just a guess but it makes me feel good.

    actually today I had a growth ultrasound and baby was so down on my cervix that they had to do a vaginal ultrasound to measure my cervix. Turns out I'm just a little tiny bit above a 1cm . They called me as soon a they averaged my scan and they want me to cone in asap to monitor me and baby cuz they think I'm gunna deliver very soon ! (: I'm due october 13th

    Have they gave you the shots yet for baby's lungs? I'm kinda surprised they don't have you on meds to stop the contractions. I dont know how you are doing it though I would have went crazy being in the hospital that long! Good luck! Keep that baby in =]

    @their_mommy yep I've gotten shots. I was on procardia but you can only be on it for so long before it causes more harm then good. They can't give me mag sul because of my previous kidney damage history and I refuse terb because the risks out way the benefits! So the past few weeks its just been trying to get the to stop naturally! So far baby is still baking and I will be 32 weeks tomorrow.

    @garagebandfan I just turned 36 weeks today. They monitored me today and my cervix is slowly getting shorter and now I'm about 2 and a half centimeters dialated! They said they expect me to go into active labor soon, they dont think i'll go over 2 more weeks of being pregnant . <3

    @honestlyhopeful my first was born at 34 weeks and she only spent 10days in the nicu. Good luck on a healthy delivery, you are in the best spot you can be! That's exciting for you but makes me nervous about me Haha..I know everyone is different..if I can get two more weeks out of my cervix I will be one happy momma!!

    @mommyoftwoprincesses I thought for sure I was done for last night, the contractions were about 3mim apart and I just kept getting the urge to push, but luckily I resisted. Then I just feel asleep, don't even know how...slept pretty decent and today I've only had 4 all day which is HUGE for me!
