SHE COULD BE HAVING CONTRACTIONS!! **she had 2 of 3 so far!!**

Totally not human pregnancy related....

So I posted a few weeks ago that my little weiner dog Izzie is also pregnant and is due at the same time as me! Well I'm due to be induced tomorrow and today she has been acting funny! She's whinning, shaking/shivering and burrowing in her whelping box and won't let myself or our other 2 dogs leave the room (she cries if we do and follows us crying). She picked out this one toy and is bringing it with her whenever she moves somewhere. I tried to move it and she got up, got the toy and brought it back to where she wanted to lay down. She is so tiny and so cute! I was told most dogs deliver at night. I think tonight is the night! It would be such a load off my mind if she did!! I just pray everything goes smoothly for her (I guess doxies can have tough times bcuz they're so small). Wish my wee little baby luck please!!

    I hope she delivers ok. Don't they usually only have 1 or 2 babies? You get to be the Dr and deliver the puppies. Post pics I bet they will be the cutest things :-)

    @iluvladybugs Yay! One person cares! Yeah, she is due to have 2 or 3. I'll take lots of pictures as long as I'm here and not at the hospital myself. Otherwise my friend is going to be here helping watch her :-)

    Yes. Our dog does the same bout 24 hours before she delivers. Check her hoo-ha and if its very swollen expect pups soon. Good luck

    Wen our brandy was about ready to have hers she moved the blanket around to her liking an got herself comfortable that's wen I knew she was ready. 15 mins later she had the first. She let me sit beside her the whole time, it was a honor lol.

    Ladys was just out there lol we didn't even need to look. But she wouldn't get off our bed and when we made her a bed she completely moved it and then had her puppies on the other dogs bed not her own lol. But the whinning and all that sounds like she is ready. I would say within the next 24 hours if not tonight even

    @emy what an honor indeed!! (Wow that sounded goofy) I hope I can be by Izzie's side... I am not afraid to sit on the floor all super preggo. She is my little baby and I just hope im here to witness it!
    @Samantha thats what Izzie keeps doing. She is going back and forth between her own bed and our other two dogs bed. I look at her whoo-ha and it looks the same as before... But still maybe tonight? ::fingers crossed::

    Well I hope Izzie is doing good. I hope you get to witness your "grandpuppies" being born whether it be before or after your baby. Congrats on both. Good luck on your delivery also. I pray it goes quick and smooth :-)

    Funny my dog was prego with me too. She had hers 8weeks ago, at night so I didnt see them born. When we got up they were there and she had already cleaned everything! GOOD LUCK!

    Sending her labor dust lol.....too cute I can't wait to see pics! We never got to have puppies, my dog Sara a lab went into heat and thought she was preggo, she carried these stuffed toys around n acted like they were her pups, she even became aggressive over them! So since they didn't have a psychiatrist for dogs I took her to the vet n the vet said she had to be spayed or she could get mean....so 9 years later she now takes care of my cat lol but she's not mean

    @monkeymam no not a grandma yet!! She's still acting funny... I'm thinking now it'll happen tomorrow :-( poop! I was hoping to be here! My hubby thinks I'm fussing over her too much. But she cries and I just can't help it!

    She hasn't had her 2nd (or possibly 3rd--vet was unsure if it was 2 or 3) and my adrenaline is going!! Hubby says to go back to sleep and let her do what she is going to do... But Omg!! I'm so excited!! I wish she would have them quicker!!! Also I just worry cuz the.vet said since.she is small she.could get a puppy stuck in the birth canal so.watch for that... Omg!!! And now I think I'm hungry but I haven't heard from the hospital yet.. they still have 32 mins to call me... Ah!!!!!

    Yay!! My dog is a small pomaranian and she did fine she had 4 pups! Sold the first one this morning!

    @pregnantelf was it hard to let the first one go? how soon after ur dog had them did u.take them to the vet?

    Yeah I told him bye for along time this morning, but its my sister in law who bought him so I'll see him again! Call your vet after you are sure they are all born, usually between 4_6w old to get booster shots!

    @pregnantelf ok, thanks!! I forgot to ask! Haha and thats good u still get to see him!! I know we can't keep her puppies but I already know I'm going to have a tough time saying bye when they have to go...
