What does a braxton hick feel like?

Hi ladies! My first real question ;;) so ive read everywhere that with the braxton hicks its preparing ur body for actual labor but rarely does it go into detail as to what they actually feel like? With my first I was induced and dont remember feeling any type of cramping before hand. So ive come to the true professionals with what seems to me to be a silly question but im very curious? Btw im 29 weeks tomorrow!

    Your whole tummy gets really tight and hard. You'll feel it start from the low middle stomach and it'll go up and wrap around. It's a weird feeling. Sometimes they come with period like cramping too.

    Thank u bentleysmommy! So many different stretching pains and stuff! Or if he is sitting on an organ lol! Its hard to decipher between them!.but ill look out for those now... Thanks again!

    I was getting them a lot and didn't even know it. Most of mine are a low pelvic tightening that felt like baby was pushing on my pelvis muscles, turns out they were actually contractions too.

    Not to be disgusting but with my first even thru the epidural(nurse gave me more without checking and I was fully dialated) I felt a lot of pressure like I had to poo... Is that the pressure ur refering too brendalou?

    Mind u with my first son they gave me more drugs before they checked I barely knew or felt I was pushing... Im sure this time around it wont happen. Lol

    @Blendedfamilymom no, not pressure in my pooper, but more in my pelvis right above my vage, kinda like a low mild period cramp.
