pee=contractions is this normal? Help?

im a ftm and Im 35+5 everytime I go to get done using the bathroom like one minute later I will have a contraction that is very painful! I just had 2 in the last 20 minutes cause I used the bathroom twice. Have any of you ladies dealt with this is it normal help?

I dont know If they are or not I mean they are pretty painful when they come on. I hope someone can help us out!

Me too! I asked my dr today and she said it isnt a concern till it becomes a pattern.

try to go to the bathroom as often as you can, the fuller your bladder gets the more likely your uterus is to contract, because it runs out of room!!!

@mybambina28 so do you think mine is a pattern cause everytime I after I use the bathroom I have one it never fails.

@garagebandfan I dont have then until after I use the bathroom could is my bladder still affecting it maybe?

it could be, because its full then when you push to relieve it, it could activate the contractions.. dont get too worried though if it ONLY when you pee

@garagebandfan not only do I get them after I pee.but thtoughout thr day and night too. Nothing timeable though

yea i got them all the time.. now my catheter is back in so it doesnt happen anymore, but a lot of women who have incompetent cervixs (not saying you do) its caused by their bladder and they have to pee all the time to try and get them to stop... it probably hurts to walk when your bladder gets full too

haha yep, try and keep it empty by going the SECOND you feel you have to.. not ONLY will it help keep away contractions, it will also help keep away uti and bladder infections.. which can cause contractions haha

got cha will do I really appreciate your advice definitely going to use it! Cause this pain is no joke which make me even more afraid of the real contractions when the come =/ yikes!
