Im due a day after u lol I thought that was funny. But ive been induced with my first 2 kids and im already set up 2 b induced next wednesday with this baby. I think the painful comment depends on what ur planning on doing if u do it do it natural if u get an epidural or iv drugs. Its going 2 be painful weather u go into labor naturally or u get induced. My first time I was n labor 4 15 hours got induced at 38 weeks n 4 days. My second time I was n labor 4 only 5 hours I was induced at 40 weeks and 2 or 3 days. I think its better if u do it closer 2 ur due date. I think the baby comes out easier but people r different.
If ur scared 2 b induced its not that bad they give u medicine in an iv it doesnt hurt or anything. I didnt mind the contractions until they were constant every minute apart. I got an epidural with my first 2 and plan on it with this one.
I hear that labor progresses much quicker when it comes on its own. So even if you are induced and don't have pain, it could be long and drawn out. Is there any particular reason you would like to be induced?
my sister went into labor on her own and she was n labor longer then I was. Like I said people r different. It doesnt matter if u go into labor on ur own or not. My other sister was n labor 4 about the same amount of time as me. As she went into labor on her own she was 41 weeks. Both my sisters are older then me. My mom told me she was n labor with me 4 a few days.
