Membrane sweep earlier today but idk what this is??

So my doctor checked me today and im still 1cm dilated and im 39w2d =( .. so she swept my membranes and i was bleeding directly afterwards which she said was normal. but the bleeding was done an hour after the appt my appt was at 230pm . but now ive been having a lot of brown gooey stuff with reddish tint but its not a lot so idk if my bloody show but its been coming out like this for about 2 hours now so idk .. ive been losing my mucous plug in pieces for a few weeks now

    that's how it was w/me when they were strip at 38 wks..i was cramping for a bit..and bleeding like you but it went away..hopefully its the start of labor for you

    I had mine done yesterday at 1pm and had my daughter at 920am today. I was one day past due date yesterday and only 2cm dilated.

    @ashleyfew it has a red ting to it but its more brown ..but i did an update just now so im hoping its almost time

    Its normal..a sweep causes you to have alot of mucus n diff colors..lol I just had mine done again yesterday and ill have alot of slime with some orangy-pink or brown tint to it..and contractions..but still no baby for me..=/ good luck to you, mayb ull get lucky like QweenNique =] if I dont have her today or tomorrow im supposed to get sweeped and stretched again on monday..ugh for the third time..n I guess were setting an induction date just in case..

    Brown blood is *old* blood. It could be what was left fom the earlier blood or perhaps your mucus plug.

    I think were in the same boat girly..ugh these, babies needa hurry up!! I walked forever yday n got some painful contraction, 3mins apart..then I wanted to see if theyd stay so I relaxed n I was able to sleep through them for the most part..my belly realllly hurts today tho..i think imma go walk like all day..=/ good luck to you!!

    There was an earlier post and hba who I believe is a midwife described the brown gooey stuff as remnants of the mucous plug and part of the show.
