after c cection has anyone had

Pain meds refilled next week I go in for 2week check up n I have this horrible burning pain on right side on inside when I move its hard to sleep at night especially getting up to feed baby...anyhow I try to only do 1percocet n 1ibprofine a day sum days I can't help but take 2percocet. I also get bad spinal headaches with constant neck stiffness...curious if doctor would refill pain meds or do they not do that because they can b addictive

    omg I had this burninpain on right side too after my c sec.. it hurt so bad!! I didn't knoe what it was..but idk bout the medicine..i stopped taking my pain meds in the hospital cuz they would kerp me awake.

    I think it depends on the doctor and the situation. My friend had some issues with her incision and they gave her more pain meds. If the pain is really bad then I would ask..one thing though that I was told is to take them on time to stay on top of the pain. Good luck hun and congrats on baby :-)

    @letsfirst mine felt so painful.i was walkin with my daughter in my arms to make her a bottle n the middle of the night n hadda stop it was like right next to my cut on the inside just burning..idk how to really describe it. worse than sunburn!! like my cut was coming open o something :( so after the feedin I layed back dwn tryn not to move till I finally fell baq asleep!! I think it was frm gettn up too fast n not taking it easy after major surgery!! luckily I'm all better now :)

    Yeah it feels like its gonna rip open it feels like pulling if u ever tore a ligament in your leg is best way I can describe a similar feeling.I have to sleep on my back I'm a side n stomach sleeper so its hard..its extremely painful n honestly I dont remember this pain with my other 2 but it was over 6years ago I could b wrong

    So doc told me to go to er since its Saturday and I can't take it anymore ..they said its a bad uti not sure I believe that but ill take the meds n pray it goes away I'm in so much pain

    I had that too...so bad it would bring tears to my eyes! I kept my band hospital gave me on..the pressure helped alot! Ice...and ibuprofen is all I took when I ran out of pain meds...I didn't want to take the percocett but pain was awful..I couldn't even get up to change him! Dr told me is nerve pain...it slowly gets better....listen to Dr tho....don't lift anything too heavy or run vacuum ...makes it come right back!

    I dont feel anything when I pee and it feels like my insides r coming apart..if it goes away ill b happy but I dont think this is the issue I'm frustrated

    @augustbaby I just had it once think god n that hurt like hell I was afraid I was gunn drop my bby!! I almost screamed for my bd!! omg how did those percocettes handle u? I didn't take ne of mine igot leavin the hospital.they would keep me awake!! crack head status!!! yeaa my pain is almost fully gone now!! :)

    I had that burning sensation too after my csection with baby #1...it was the worst part of my recovery. I took percocet for about 4 weeks, so if you need it, then take it. I also had a small wound infection and being a nurse I was too sheepish to mention that burning to my doc as I figured it was normal. Well, I finally mentioned it to her at my 30 week appt with #2 and she said it was probably the cut nerves regenerating, but said she did not have that with her csections and had never heard about it from other patients, so maybe it was from the infection. I just hope I don't get it again :/ I'm scheduled for another csection on 10/25. I would tell your doc to be safe. Just call the office and let them know how you feel.

    Oops..just saw your post about the UTI...yeah, not sure that the pain we are all talking about could be from a UTI. I mean, that burning sensation was INTENSE! Not like a buring when you pee...you know? Well, I hope it helps! Let me know how you are feeling in a couple days.

    My doctor told me its the muscle inside that is making that burning pain because of all the pulling and tugging they do on your muscles when doing the csection. It gets better.and believe me the pain meds will not take it away at all. Good luck hub try to rest.
