37+5days dilation?

I went to the doctors on Monday and I was closed and 50% effaced than I went to the doctors on Thursday and I was 2cm dil and 70% effaced. Does anyone know or had this happen to them? Am I going to go into labor soon? I'm a ftm too so I'm super scared and don't know what to expect! Help ladies!

    Have you been having contractions because that sounds like it was very quick for you to dilate. There is nothing to be scared of just keep watching for a discharge, contractions, & your water to break. I hope it goes fast for you though.

    @tinknbob I don't know what a actual contraction feels like ..sometimes I get rlly bad almost period cramps. And some brown dishcharge.

    Its hard to explain what a contraction feels like. Its a very strong pain in your belly that tightens. I wish I could help more. Please keep me updated.
