piercing/tattoo after childbirth..how long to wait

How long should you wait? Should I wait til my body is fully healed like the 6wks? And I'm not breast feeding

    Me too!! I can't wait to get his portrait and footprints :) I have a drs appointment tomorrow morning so if noone knows tonight I'll ask and post tomorrow!!

    If your breast feeding I would wait til your done. But if not I don't see why you would have to wait!

    My tattoo artist told me you can get work done while breastfeeding. I have tattoos dedicated to my kids so I want work done right away and add this baby to them!!!! I do plan on having a 24 hour of milk pumped first just to be certain tho :)
