why are people like this?
Today was my last day before I start maternity leave. I'm very obviously pregnant especially in my work clothes. I work at a sports bar and being Sunday with football and lots of good teams playing we were SUPER busy. So I'm on the back patio all by myself with 12 tables. & tables can see how hard I'm working & how many tables I have.
One of the last to sit is 3 guys around 25-30 yrs old & when I walk up they are smoking. One takes a huge puff and blows it into my face with no remorse and snaps that he's ready to order. They continue smoking and blowing in my face for duration of stay. Then when the bill comes they claim they didn't get their drinks, and try to say they only ate ⅓ of the food on the bill. They sat for the whole game and ate all of it and even got free food already because some of it came cold. Then they complain to the manager saying my service was slow and told the manager they needed to hire better servers. Then didn't tip me a damn penny. Every other table left a hefty tip especially since I was working so hard with keeping their drinks full and tables clean.
I just want to know what goes through peoples heads. Like would you let someone blow cigarette into your pregnant wife's face? If not then why would you do it to someone else. And I know you overheard me saying I'm due TUESDAY.... why stress me out so much by complaining about me? On my LAST day of work?? How rude, I just don't get people.....
