has anyone lost there mucus plug and not gone into labor for weeks?

I will be 32 weeks Tuesday and I am pretty sure that I lost my mucus plug last night(it looked like a huge wad of snot I almost threw up). I have an appt Wednesday and I am going to call my Dr tomorrow morning all the websites say to call if you lose it before 36 weeks. Most of the sites agree that losing it doesnt indicate labor is near but most likely within 2 weeks. I have already been to l&d last Wed night Thurs morning early. They said I was contractions and they gave me indomethacin to stop it and that I had a UTI and gave me meds for that too. The steady contractions haven't come back yet but I have been nausous all day and sore. I am just worried and it is way too early for Brantley to be here! To make matters worse my husband just started a new job working overnights!

Ur mucus plugs regenerates all the Time I believe...I think the .only time labor is not far away is if it has blood in it

Yeah I didn't either with my last pregnancy. Learn something new everytime...but just to b safe let ur Dr know

I started losing mine at 36 weeks with #1. I had her on her due date. I'm 34 weeks with #2 and have noticed a lot of stringy clear mucous, but no big blobs yet. I sure hope you can keep cooking the baby longer!

Thanks everyone! I guess I am going to just wait and tell them at my appt Wednesday. I can't wait! We are getting the 3d4d ultrasound then!

@mollysmama is everything ok with your daughter? I am praying to make it to atleast 35 weeks. I have so much pressure and irregular contractions that I don't know if we will or not.

@merideth83 yes she is i had choleostasis which caused alot of problems she was in the nicu for 2wks for pneumonia and breathing problems but she is perfect
