measuring big...anyone else?

I just had my 34 week OB appt today. I'm 34+1 and my OB said I'm measuring 38 weeks based on fundal height. Anyone else been told this? Did you deliver early?

She didn't schedule an u/s to see how big the baby is, but maybe that's b/c I'm scheduled for a csection. I don't have GD. My first (a girl) was 7 lbs 2 oz and 20.5 inches long. This pregnancy is my second and also a girl.

    @_kaykes have you been measuring ahead all along? This is the first time she said anything to me about it. She said I have been measuring ahead all along, but now I've gone from measuring 2 weeks ahwad to 4 weeks. I haven't gained any weight in the last 3 weeks, so I'm not sure what's going on. And if course she finshed the appt too quickly for me to think of these things while I was there ;)

    Its just a growth spurt. I was like that at 33wks I was measuring 36.4 and now I'm 37 an measuring 39. She'll slow down a lil bit.

    Haha I always leave the doctors office with more questions than I came with! :) I wish they gave us more time to try and process and think first lol my brain isn't as quick as it used to be!

    I hope everything goes well! I wouldn't worry though, especially if your doctor isn't worried :)

    dont worry to much yet hun. at 34 weeks i was measuring 38 weeks also..i had an ultrasound to see how much she weighs and it said 6lbs10oz at 35+5 shes gunna be big but not over 8 1/2 lbs and with you having a section you will be fine! good luck tho mama btw My first was 7lbs2oz when he was born this is my 2nd they will be 23 months apart..were like the exact same!

    @DreaMaria I measured waaaaay huge and had polyhydramnios which is excess fluid. They also told me after us that he would be over 10 pounds if I made it to term... I made it to 39+4 and he was only 6#13oz lol I wouldn't worry too much..good luck!

    I have been measrung 5 weeks ahead since 28 weeks and had a scan every two weeks which he has continued at the same rate. 12 and 20 weeks scans he was the right size so just had some mad growth spurt somewhere between 20 and 28 weeks! He is healthy though and docs are happy and just laugh when i say i am worried lol. I have been told if he carries on they will probably induce me at 38/9 weeks or at the very least not let me go over my dates :) I am not worried tho, he has to come out one way or another and is healthy! Prefer him not to come out the sun roof but if he does i will heal eventually and have a big baby boy to play with so you will be fine too :)

    P.s from what i hear they get it wrong 90% of the time even with scans!

    Im measuring 2 wks ahead but my dr didn't act like he cared.

    I measured bigger with my second, probably about 2 weeks. Had her 5 days past dd and she was 6lbs 13oz. Dr just told me I'm measuring a week or so ahead..I asked if any of that could be ME since I was big to begin with and he admitted it could be that as well.

    I was told i was measurin 4weeks ahead at my 34week scan and was told to expect at least a 10lber! My little munchkin was born 11 days late and was 7lb 13oz! So dont worry they get it wrong lots!!

    I was told my uterus is measuring big but an u/s my boy is measuring a tad small.
