i got a question for those moms who teeth arnt so good.....

Mine are kinda bad I'm waiting to get them fixed they wont cause I'm prego even with a note but I'm using sensidine and its not working i need something to help with sensitivity I'm tired of them hurting all the time what kinds work for you? And is your dentist not working on you too cause your pregnant cause this is affecting my health i cant eat barley cause of the pain

    Im so out of it right now I was guna tell you to get a teething ring lmao I need to sleep lol but sensodine should help, I don't have problems with them now while pregnant but they are super sensitive to cold things so I just stay away from super cold things , this is prolly no help though :(

    the tube is almost gone i brush twice a day... but i do have a lot of problems with my teeth and the baby is making it worse and they wont fix them ive got like three teeth with holes in them and the rest are getting there i need 6 taken out im about to say take them all out and ill get false ones but im way to young for that im 23 lol

    Try using oragel mouth wash from walmart and use after brushing and after meals. It cleans out food and numbs your sensitive areas.works great trust me! Good luck!!!

    I have awful teeth thanks to my younger days and the sensodyne pro namel works great for me

    My dentist recommended Act restoring as well as the sensative toothpaste. My teeth are sensative and have spots due to poor water quality while I was growing up. I'm so excited because um husband said, since he's deployed thru this pregnancy, that I can use our tax return to get veneers!!!!!! Yay!

    Hmm, during a past pregnancy I needed a tooth fixed and the dentist had no problem doing it. I just had to sign a special paper to get the x-ray done. Maybe you should look for a new dentist who will help you. Oral health is very important during pregnancy.

    I called another one today and they said the samething I might just have to get one pulled and the rest fixed after Ty everyone for sugestions :)

    try other dentists! lol they made me get a note. one of mine broke right before I got pregnant and had a huge hole in it and I left it cuz I was scared of hurting my baby with the x ray. But it hurt so bad I used the oragel extra sensitive stuff till my sensodine tooth paste worked. Lol but now that I'm full term I got my teeth worked on, and I thought they were unsaveable! Cuz it was so plaque ridden and apparently I had an infection from it inside my roots. so please try other dentists cuz you can still save your teeth! (: And you can get antibiotics for the infection cuz the infection can affect your baby!

    update* i went to my hubbies place and they where going to charge me like 245 to get it done today... i don't have that kind of money well i came home and looked up some sure enough omg i found one that will do it tomarro and take from my insurance so no moneys needed :) and get this i told them about how my normal dentist wont see me they said we will give you some names you can go to that will help you i <3 them Oral & Maxillo Surg Specialist....i almost want to cry! and i called them to confirm my apt i know its silly but they made it for 3:30 i had a blonde moment and asked am or pm lol WOOT!!!!! sorry i know long!

    Haha on the time ? u asked! I've done that before. Glad ur getting them fixed. I have a really loose filling I need replaced but I'm terrified of dentists. I used pregnancy as an excuse but now he's a month old and I still haven't gone. My excuse now is "its so hard to do anything for myself with a newborn." Dunno how much longer I can use this excuse before ppl start yelling at me to go get it worked on.

    @Kingsmama i wouldnt wait i waited and omg my teeth got bad! im talking i need over 3,000+ dollars worth of work im scared of the dentist too but i got to do it for my girl its not that bad!!!

    I'm gonna go soon. I've got a high pain tollerance I mean having my son was a breeze but I get so worked up and I don't like my teeth being messed with. I'll news like 10 valium for anxiety and still need to be sedated. I did find a dentist who does sedation by iv, I just gotta have someone drive me there and back cuz I won't be able to drive.

    they wont do it if your prego they cant put you under other wise id be like omg estatic lol i have the same thing as you i just dont like them poking in my mouth and i gag easly now sence being prego

    Wow in my book I got from my ob they encourage you to go to the Dentist. That's nuts they wont do anything for you. Id be looking for a different dentist.

    I can't wait for the place to give me the list who will work on me :) I want my smile back and my teeth not to affect the baby
