Is anyone having a gender party? ? ?

My husband and I think having one would be super fun!! Plus we can have guests bring diapers in exchange for a raffle ticket for prizes. They also would be able to share our joy when we find out what gender baby will be!!! Any thoughts???

    I think that's an awesome idea! I love that more & more are having co-ed baby showers, some have Daddy Showers so they can have one last guy night before baby arrives, or diaper parties. Where do you live? Certain states (I live in Arizona) offer in home 'for fun' ultrasounds, depending on the package you purchase you'll get photos, some 4D photos, gender check, DVD, they either bring their own TV so you can have whomever you'd like since its your home or they can hook up to your TV. How are you feeling? Is this your first?

    Oh wow!!! 4d gender check at home with TV hook ups!!!:) That sounds soon fun! I'm in AZ too. Gilbert/Higley area. I'm feeling a bit better. Starting to get ny appetite bsck!! I'm 10 weeks and this will be my first. :) My husband and I are soon excited. How about you? How far along are you?

    I'm at 44th street& Camelback. I will get you the link to the company who does it. I am 27yrs old, I have 4 daughters ages 11, 8, almost 6 & 18mos. Due August 26th (youngest 2nd birthday) not sure what we're having yet. I have health problems, but so far *knocks on lots of wood* things are going well except for the nausea. This is our last. There's also a couple places that does for fun ultrasounds.

    I am! Were going to have the doctor write the sex down abd seal it in an envelope then we will drop the envelope off at a bakery abd have them make cupcakes with blue or pink frosting then reveal at the gender party

    @CeliaAgnes You should have them dye the actual cake batter & use white frosting so your guests won't know until they bite into the cupcake. That's what I'm going to do.

    @CeliaAgnes In my situation nobody knows we're expecting so when we finally move into our house & we have our house warming party it'll be a HUGE shock when our family & friends not only find out we're expecting but they'll find out it's a girl at the same time.

    I think its a cute idea, but if you're going to do that plus a baby shower, your guest might think its too much and show up to one and not the other.

    I was going to do a shower but I decided not to cuz I like this better. Plus I just spent the entire morning searching for the things I want & I'm just gonna get em myself. Also I thought we could just have a bbq before she comes to celebrate her & hang out w/ friends & family one last time.
