Precious Motherhood Moments (please share)

edited September 2011 in Just for Fun
Greetings Lovely Ladies/Gents,

I am a first-time mother of one... My Little Angel and I have shared some precious moments, in our eight weeks together.
This morning, My Little Angel was sleepy (I know, because I'd just served up the "Liquid Gold"). She was fussy and thrashing about. After pacing the floor, singing, talking to her and rocking her, I laid her on my torso (diagonally, left to right). She laid her head in my chest and sighed. She turned her head and looked up at me with one of the most peaceful facial expressions. I blew a kiss at her; she smiled at me and promptly fell asleep. :-)

Please share your precious moments...

  • I absolutely love when my baby girl smiles at me or in her sleep. I love when she smiles period lol
  • The first time my son said I love you mommy. He was playing and just looked up and said it :) I ran over and kissed all over him and squeezed him. It was the best feeling :)
  • @due_in_july Omg, those smiles are just THE BEST!!! 8-> My Little Angel smiles and laughs...

Well my 2 yr old loves getting out of bed early in the morning and going to the bed with me, 2 weeks ago she came into my room and I was knocked out, she went into my bed and said: momma wake up, I heard her voice at the distant but didnt open my eyes, she kissed my cheeck gently and when I opened my eyes the first thing I saw was her smiling at me, she hugged me and said: momma I luv you, as she passed her hand on my cheeck.
  • @babynumber02 Aww... 8->
I have something else to look forward to. I think it's a different dynamic when a little boy tells his mother (for the first time) "Mommy, I love you!"
  • the first timr they call you mommys sweet and melts ur heart
  • Oh yeah and my almost 1 month old baby was in my arms and I kissed her nose and she got a huge smile on her face and she was already sleeping
  • One day my 2 year old and I were just hanging out and he looked up to me and said mommy you're beautiful. @lae3 melts your heart is best and only description!
  • aww thats sweet.. quit often my 18month old will be sitting on my lap and wrap his arms around my neck to pull me in for a kiss.. he looks up at me and says mommy with his big brown eyes and puckered lips.. he gives me kisses .. i love that.. :X @jadelman0211
  • And as I was posting that last message my son was sitting beside me (I'm laying with my feet propped up from swelling) and he leans over and kissed me on the forehead :) what a sweetie!
  • I love how my son will be completely fussy screaming while someone else is holding him and I can walk over and take him into my arms and instantly he quiets down and smiles up at me giggling. It's the best feeling knowing it only takes you to make him happy.
  • @aydonsmommy That is one of the best feelings... My Little Angel used to let my mother hold/console her; but now she only calms down for my mother about a third of the time. And my husband, even less...
They call it "spoiled"; I call it "she needs mommy"...
  • @jadelman0211 Aww, how sweet!!! I wanted a Little Man; but I Love My Little Angel!!!
  • I think mine is when my 5 year old daughter talks to her brother (in my belly) and tells him how much she loves him and cant wait to see him. If Im in pain she will come tell my tummy 'brother you need to be nice to our mommy' and she will kiss and love on my belly.
  • Whenever my son is crawling on the floor and comes to ky feet and reaches up for me.:) and, when he's laying in bed with us and he puts his head on me and smiles and then does the same for his daddy. He's so sweet.: )
  • @lilbit01_209 that's is super cute! I kinda wish my son was more interested in the baby. I best I get is him trying to give him things already and wants to shove toys in my belly button :)

  • I know this is different but my baby girl (15yrs old lol) hugged me the other day.and told me she was proud to be my daughter and that me being proud of her is what makes hee want to succeed in life. It made me cry x

@cheryl74 That is not different... [-X
That is just as precious as the rest of these post... at least it tugged some of my heart strings 8-> I have something else to look forward to... I pray My Little Angel is proud to be my daughter and enough to tell me (one day)... ;-)
  • I love it when my five year old comes up to me and tells me how she can't wait to grow up and be just like me 8-> and how much she loves me. I was recovering and to her so she understands I told her I was broken well she looked at me with big brown eyes and told me how she loves me more then all the rain drops in the world. That's what I tell her all the time before bed and when she leaves for school.
  • @TheSmilingBeauty Aww thanks, I only meant different cause everyone was talking baby stories. My 15yr old says something beautiful every day so I wanted to share lol. Can't believe I'm starting again :-)
  • When he was just a few weeks old he woke up not long after a feed in the middle of the night. I picked him up and cuddled him and veru quickly fell asleep. He woke up coz he wanted a hug from mummy :))
  • Im at FTM to a 4 month old daughter and I had her sitting on my lap watching tv and she looks up and starts babbling to me while touching my face. Just smiling away. I thought it was the cutest thing!
