OK just wanted to see Who all did. I can't roll either due to my c section and my hubby works 10 hrs a day so I try to get up at night more. N if he'd sleep in his crib either daddy would have to get him or help me sit up and out the bed.
i did sometime in the first couple weeks. and when she wakes up at around 7 or 8am i bring her to bed with me to nurse so i can get an hour or 2 extra. she falls back asleep
I plan to at first. I think it's traumatic for babies to be several feet away when they've lived inside us all these months... :-) My little guy sleeps and wakes with me now at 36 weeks, and I hope cosleeping will help maintain a healthy sleep schedule for him. Over time I plan a gradual transition to the cradle beside me, then the cradle at the foot of the bed, across the room eventually to his own room.
my oldest slept with me for almost 2 years...which the first year it was just me and him in my bed and then after i moved in w hubby at his moms there was no room for a crib in our room so we still co slept and hubby worked 3rd shift any way..it wasnt hard getting him to sleep in his bed after we got our own place....but with my 2nd son it wasnt either and he slept with us the 1st year...he had a bassinet right next to our bed but since i BF he ended up in bed with us anyway lol.......i dunno but it seems to me that it was the only way i could sleep ok with my new babies next to me..im an alert sleeper when it comes to my kids if that makes sense i could seriously sense when my baby woke up and when he would breathe differently and i would wake up rigt away..lol
