comparing formula?!

So my friend told me she switched from similac sensitive to targets up and up store brand sensitive and that all the ingredients and nutritional values are the same ... said baby transitiined without any problem...but its half the price??? Has anyone else done this...compared the ingredients or talked to their dr about it? I would never change my son if it compromised his health or comfort just to save money...but wondering if it is the same?

I did! I checked the ingredients etc before doing it and asked his pediatrician. No problems at all. I use Parents Choice Gentle which is the same as Enfamil Gentlease. I pay 14.88 for a big can.

The only difference is Enfamil Gentlease has 10 mcg of iodine and Parent Choice Gentle has 15 mcg.

Ive heard they are the same. But when I was baby sitting for a friend she was short on money and had to get the target brand and I could tell a difference.
It was thinner, the texture was different, her daughter didn't like it and she was hungrier a lot quicker. It just didn't seem as thick and filling as the similac.
Other then that, they are supposidly the same

@littlefae I have a friend who used Parent Choice Advantage, but then WIC and started getting the brand. When she compared the back of the cans they had A LOT of different amounts of vitamins etc.
