Halloween Costumes

Halloween is right around the corner and for my bro's 21st bday party (on 10/8) he wants to have a costume party. Since I will 35 weeks on the 8th and 38 weeks for Halloween I'm trying to think of a creative costume.
Anyone know what they're doing? I've seen pictures of painted pumpkin bellies and painted fish bowls. I was thinking about doing a couple's costume and going as Juno & Bleeker. I think the only thing I will need for my costume is a pleated skirt & then hubby's Bleeker costume.

@Louisesfirstbaba I didn't think of it either. Lol I saw it online. My husband didn't sound too excited. I don't think I've ever been successful at getting him to a couple's costume.

im just hoping im not in the hospital having to be induced.. ill be 10days over due and thats when they induce.. i want to go naturaly.. i went the whole ten days over with my last two and dreading the worst.. im hoping if im still prego 41wks that my dr.. will just induce i dont want to be in the hospital on holloween i want to be with my boys home.. so i can see them all dressed up..

A few years ago my husband and I dressed up as a Wii remote and Wii Fit board. And YES, he rigged his costume to light up with blue neon lights just like the real thing! Lol!! Obviously I wasn't pregnant but it was a nice compromise to a couple's costume! We made them ourselves and my husband got super into it because it was more "manly" maybe you could do something involving video games or cars.

If hubby has a favorite sports team go as a MALE fan of that team, dress in team Jersey, hat, bring along a remote control and of course have your "huge beer belly" sticking out.

That would be cute! I like dressing up with the kids too but I haven't really seen any maternity costumes around so I just bought some tiger ears..my fave animal. Lol boring I know

@MattandMallory27 I like the 8 ball idea. I saw something about going as a magic 8 ball and putting a fortune on the belly.
@LittleFae I like the mermaid but I thinkthe claim would be pretty difficult. I'm trying to find something I can make at home and make it pretty cheap (get stuff from Goodwill, etc).
@proudcastromama I love that idea! Do you know where they got their costumes?

Im gonna paint my belly like a pokeball and my boyfriend is gonna dress up as ash we are gonna tell people i have a charmander in my belly (fire pokemon) because i have had teeeerrible heartburn this whole time!
