baby shower question

did you have an open house or a regular shower, I am trying to decide what to do and don't know which ones better.

    I would love that, but we're planning on the first weekend of November in Utah and it's usually only 40 degrees outside

    Depends on how you want it to go. If you just want to visit with your guests and hang out like a party, then go the open house route. If you are wanting to do the fun games and open gifts and stuff, like a traditional shower, you'll want everyone to show up at the same time. I had a regular shower last time and I had fun.
