1 CM...wtf???

I'm.due in 7 days n I'm.only a cm. What can I do to dialate even more...?? Had sex last wknd not to dialate tho. Mucus plus came out right after....well actually bloody show. Big pieces. Then last night I kidnapped my BD n brought him to my place n had sex again. After I went to clean myself up n more pieces of bloody show along with a few drops of blood. Nothin crazy...wiped n it was pink. Had appt this morn n was checked n I'm.only 1 cm like a I said n she said cervix isn't 100% effaced but she said just a little bit more so idk how effaced I was. I'm just nervous about going over. She said if baby isn't here by Monday my dd, that I will b put on monitors to.c.how baby is doing. I do NOT want a c section. So like I mentioned above...n e ideas?

    Maybe bounce on ball do squats walk Idk these are things I'm doing but I have no clue how effaced I am or dialated I started to help ease the contractions I've been having.

    Apparently evening primrose capsules inserted down there help soften your cervix and can be taken orally, I'd google it first though as its just things I've heard :) good luck I'm due in 10days and 1cm too!

    I'm not too sure I would wait till 38weeks though just incase it does work for you, babs lungs may still not be fully developed at 36weeks @Samantha

    I wouldn't worry I went to Dr. & I was at a 0 nothing just was told baby was low I was so disappointed I had been bouncing on the ball sex n stairs to try to go into labor n nothing but 3 days later I was in labor out of the blue lol!

    @louisesfirstbaba that's what I was thinking :) I heard as early as 34 or 36 but that seemed a little early especially 34!

    im pretty much in the same boat lol. Due in 6 days and at my last apt (last thursday) i wasn't dilated any but 75% effaced and baby is -1. i do NOT want a c-section either lol :-S

    @hot2Cold87 that makes me feel better. With my first I had her at 39+3 n I had no symptoms at all.that indicated I was going into labor.

    @kimmy819 have u tried the evening primrose stuff?

    I'm a ftm and when I was in labor, I stayed at a 1.5 cm AFTER all day on pitocin. They thought I'd end up with a c section but the second day around noon with pitocin, I was a "tight 2" and they broke my water... BOOM! I was epidural ready, slept for two hours, woke up and pushed for 45 mins and had my baby girl vaginally. :-D was tough being in labor for 2 days with pitocin and only a little bit of that was with pain meds (about 4 hours) but I would do it all over again! :-) Good luck girl!

    Oh, btw, I was 41 weeks exactly. Had her on august 12 and was due august 5th. Can't wait to read the updates - I'll be praying for you and that you won't have back labor. Thats all I had and that's no fun at all! >:D<

    @adri805 i havent tried anything yet lol just been having sex normally and trying to walk more often. probably gonna go for a looongggg walk tomorrow :p this is my first baby

    @momof22be I hope so. This is all new to me coz with my first I had none of this. They didn't check me, nvr had contractions.or BH. But then again I was 17 n maybe I just was in my own world.

    Just keep in mind that how much you're dilated and effaced has no bearing on when you'll go into labor, so I wouldn't worry about it.

    I was 2 weeks over due and the morning I went into labor I was only 1 cm. That same evening my son was born-so dont worry your baby will be here before you know it!

    @Adri805 if I don't have him by then they will induce me at 41 weeks. My ob is stupid. :-\ I want them to strip my membranes or something! I go for a stress test next week to see if I am even feeling the contractions.
