Depo shot ......... ESSURE QUESTION

Ok so I had my baby boy on 9-10-11 awsome bday lol but anyways. I am schedualed to get the esure but sine it takes 3 months for the fallopian tubes to scar up I have to get the depo I am big I lost all the preg wieght and back down to 213 now yea that's still big but I was at 250 so I think I did ok anyways I'm concerned about gaining wieght with only 1 depo shot my question is for ppl who have or know ppl who have got the depo do u gain wieght after 1 depo ??? I really dnt wanna gain any wieght

    You only have to do one shot? They made me get one before I left the hospital. I have to wait till December to do the essure. And get another depo shot then :(

    I had a depo an I didnt gain any weight and I ate regular but I think everyone is diffrent cause I heard that it makes u gain wait too so idk

    I know when I was on it I kept saying this shot is blowing me up my Dr said it just make u hungry really hungry
    But if I wud have knew that that's all it was doin I wud have slowed my eating down I got off it cuz I was getting big n my Dr didn't tell me that til after I got off
    No lie besides that I really like the shot cuz me I hate to c blood I get very nausea n wit the shot I Neva had a period n I was loving that!

    It took my 3rd round so 9 months of the shot before I gained any weight. But I went crazy. I was mad all the time and had no sex drive what so ever. Oh and I bled for the whole first 3 months every day. Then I got my 2nd shot and it stopped the following day.

    Well @ming_ling how soon after did u start gainin and how ling did it take for u to loose it @kingsmama. mann I'm already kinda crazy lol the mirena is what got me this way haha I swear I would be laughing the mad and then crying all in like 10min my sex drive was good but the orgasms weren't tmi I know. But about the bleeding that's ok with me cause I'm still kinda swollen I hope I don't gain wieght I have my 1st shot tomorrow then 2 weeks ill get the essur

    Ya if its just 1 shot u should be ok. Just watch out for food cravings. It made me crave all junk food and nothing healthy. If its only one tho u should be good for 3 months :)

    I haven't gained weight no. And I've been on it since 9/7 . But I don't let myself eat all the time. I eat healthy and I breast feed. So I've lost most of my baby "fat"
