Pea Sized knots under skin on vagina

So this morning while taking a shower I noticed that I have numerous pea sized knots under the skin on my vagina. When I pinch them they are hard and a little painful. I used a mirror to look at them and they dont have white heads so I dont think they are ingrown hairs...does anyone have any ideas? I am going to make an appt with my doc on monday..was just wondering if any of you ladies had any ideas. Also, I dont have any STDs so I dont think that would be a cause either.

Maybe skin tags? I got them when I was pregnant, and although theyve shrunk, they havent gone completely away yet.

Hmm..i have skin tags on my neck and thy are above the surface...can they be under the skin as well?

I get them near my bikini line sometimes. I think you have a cyst. I place a warm cloth until It pops and place zit cream on it..are u wearing tight underwear?

It sounds like they are cyst. I got them a couple times and that's what my doctor said it was. Just try not to mess w them and in a couple days they will be gone.

I have em they are painful i guess idk if it's the same thing but don't pop them mine got infected .....

Ya I was thinking they were cysts..but wasnt sure. I have never had this problem until now! I will talk to my Doc next week. Thanks Ladies for your input!!

These may form as a result of trauma sustained by the vaginal walls or following an obstetric or gynecologic procedure, when the lining of the vagina doesn't heal to its normal smoothness.
