ok ladies.... naliyah is here!!!!!!!!
hey there ladies,
so nalyiah kamira was born on 9/29/11 at 6:56 pm weighing in at 8 lbs 11oz and 20 1/2 in long
this is how it all started:
my due date was on 9/28 (wed) and nothing was going on that day but i went for a walk like at 6 that evening and still nothing. me and the bf were watch lincoln lawyer and i started having contractions during the movie but nothing major then like at 3 in the morning i was still up and had to use the restroom so i went and lost my mucus plug it was clear but it caused me to start having contratcions at like 5 in the morning... i had a feeling that i was gonna have her that day cause at 8 i got in the shower and lost more of my mucus plug but it was still clear... i had an appointment at 11 and i stated having more contractions after i got out the shower but i just waited it out till i got to the doctor... my contractions started picking up as i was going to the doctor... i got there and she checked me and i was 3cm dilated so she said i was in early labor and told me to go to the hospital... so we get to the hospital at like 12 and im getting situated in the room and waiting on the nurses to start my iv and man my contractions started kicking my butt i started crying and couldnt take it.. the nurse checked me and i was at 4 cm and this was at 2:30 so i got my epidural which i think took more to my right side cause after a while i could feel my contractions on the left.. i little while after they gave me some pitocin to get thing going a little faster.... at around 4:30 i started to feel this pain which i then realized was pressure lol so i told the nurse and she checked me and i was 7cm... so there i was just eating ice chips waiting to dilate some more so i could have my baby girl... at maybe around 6 the doctor checked me again and i was complete but didnt feel like i had to push and i wanted to wait for my doctor to come so she could deliver her... so time comes and my doctor gets to the hospital and i started pushing... we did 3 sets of pushes in 10 mins and out came naliyah at 6:56!!!! daddy cut her cord and had a big smile when he did it.. the last set i pushed with all my might because i heard them saying that her heart rate was going down so in my head i was like ok get her out shanelle... when she came out she had swallowed a bunch of fluid so they had to take her to the nursery and thats when i started crying cause i didnt know if she was gonna be ok or not but daddy went with her and she was ok and came right back to me...
i have to say ladies labor wasnt all that bad as i thought it was gonna be
im enjoying my little girl and cant get enough of her

@MrssThompson34 yea she was a nice size baby and only lost 5oz by the time we left the hospital... finally you get to go home! lol
