Tips for removal? Its so sad looking he just scratched his head and it looks so bad. I think it is because he needs a bath too hasn't had one yet. Seems like it will brush right out with the soft brush.
My daughter who is now 4 yrs old had it really bad when she was a baby what I found that worked was babyoil. I would put it on her head every day & then use a baby comb to brush it through. I used everything & the babyoil worked the best.
Wow I was just getting ready to search for a thread about this!! Lol crazy. Thanks for posting, I think my 5wk old has it . I used a medicated shampoo when my 1st two had it , but I'll try the oil.
@hsweetie21 i think I have seen it I wonder what's in it? I've read you can brush it out while shampoo-ing.
@mommyof3tobe lol don't ya love that? My baby is 5 weeks too his head looks so bad. I just don't like scrubbing their baby heads soft spots freak me out! Let me know how it goes for you
Ok I will he just took bath tonight so I'll do it before his bath tomorrow. @kingsmama no lol cradle cap is when the scalp dries up and becomes scaly and flaky. it can get really bad!! Idk why infants get it though.
@mommyof3tobe ahh makes sense. Ty for clarifying I think my son has it very mildly and I thought it was just dandruff. I shall now bust out the oil for his lil head to be safe Ty.
I used baby brush a baby oil.. Then light rinse so there no to greesy lol.my lil giy had it.. Wen I bathed him I did the shampoo oil.. So no no to dry him out..
