My baby obese??? At 5 months??

So today I took my baby to her first app here in Chile and she weighs 15 pounds and they got on my case saying she is obese!!! I'm like WTF she is 5 months I don't think she is heavy at all what do you ladies think?? They are also sendin me to a nutritionist next week so what am I suppose to do starve my kid???

    That doesn't make sense considering some babies are 10lbs at birth... :-?

    My son is 15 lbs (maybe more now) and he is 3 and a half months. His dr said he is fine and not to worry. He said his weight and his height are normal and balance eachother out. Don't worry hun you know when ur child is hungry and when she's not so don't let them freak you out =)

    Thats crazy. Thats early for them to be saying that. They been telling me my son is obese for years he is in my profile pic does he look obese to u lol

    I definitely think its too early to be saying a baby is obese once she starts walking and running around she will thin out for sure

    That's ridiculous. Smdh. My girl is 13 lbs and 4 months but she's tall too. What do they want you to do?! Have an anorexic baby?!?

    I wouldnt worry... My step daughter was the fattest baby you have ever seen and was that way from birth. She didn't thin out till she was about 3, every child is different and has a different body type, if you dont feel your child is over weight then chances are she isnt

    My son is 9weeks and is 14.6 lbs! Dr not concerned said he's healthy!!! He was 9.4 22 in at birth!! Ur lil mama is perfect! !!:)

    How much was baby at birth by one yr old most triple there birth weight. If baby if still in that range tell them that and see what they say

    My niece was 1lb over normal weight at 1yr old and the lady at the Wic office freaked out on my sister.

    My baby is 16.6 at 4 months! WTF? how can they say a baby is obsese. They always tell me how good it is since shes in the 80th+ percentile for her age group(she's pretty long too-26 inches). I see babies come into the clinic weighing around what my daughter does and they're completely healthy.

    Pay no attention to them. My baby just had his 6 month appt and he was 20lbs. And he was small at birth. 7.11. My doctor said he was healthy and very muscular. Lol. I say as long as your baby is eating good and not having any problems then let her be fatty and happy. She will loose all of that fat when she starts moving around.

    My little boy is 12 weeks and over 16 pounds (and that was at his last appointment, 2 weeks ago!) He was 9 lbs 5 oz at birth.

    My baby is 13 pounds 7 weeks the doctor is not worried.she just said give him more ounces so he can get fuller and won't be hungry so soon...seems to be working

    So I was thinking maybe there measurements n all that stuff is totally diff from the us. I bet if u were here the drs wouldn't have thought that. I think that's not obese at all.

    She was 6 13 when she was born and when we left the US she was 12 pounds and her dr said she was fine byt they were just so rude like if I am over feeding her she eats 4-5oz every 3-4 hours and she will be 5 months tomorrow

    OMG...what are you supposed to do not feed her!? I think she is fine and is beautiful, My princess just had her 2 month appt. and she weighed 15.5 pounds. I was told a thing. Good luck girly!

    My daughter is 4 1/2 months at her 4 month check up she was 16 lbs..26 inches tall...she is into the 95th% for height and weight lol

    My boys were 15...13...and 18 lbs at 3 months... Most healthy kids ever... They are now 8...5 and 3 yrs.

    My brother almost doubled in weight by two weeks. He was 8 lbs 14 oz at birth and almost 16 lbs at his check-up.

    The doctors actually asked my mom if she was feeding him "table scraps". She said "No, he's not a dog!"

    Thats ridiculous! My son was 9lbs 10oz @birth and he is now 11weeks n weights 15lbs 3oz3oz n its 25 1/2 inches..could it b that his length doesnt match with the weight?
