Be ok with me pumping and giving her a bottle or are they for strickly the breast? I have my appt. On tuesday and i'm scared that they're gonna kick me off. I figure breastmilk is better than formula. Also, will they usually give anyone a pump? I'm not returning to work but I still need it, manual pumping is not fun. I should not be stressed out about this but I am, please help!

    Just don't tell them. Say you just need the pump for work and will give you a pump to borrow :)

    They won't be mad if you use a bottle. You can breastfeed & formula feed, that's what I do. & they gave me an electric pump. If not you can rent one frm them

    @starrxoxo9 thats what I was thinking of doing, but they're gonna know about the bottles because she doesnt latch on very well, I think, from everything they gave me to read, that as long as the baby gets only breastmilk, i'll be fine, and if I ever use formula they will never know because they cut the food in almost half

    Wic will give you pump yes! Also if you do formula and bm and tell them you will lose the food they are giving for you and get formula instead. You will only get milk and cheese if you are bf or have a child that will eat them. I love wic its such a big help

    Well I never had to show them my baby breastfeeding so I wouldn't worry about that. But do what makes you comfortable.

    They wil talk to you about levels they have like exclusive breastfeeding, breastfeeding and formula, and exclusive formula and if you ef you get the most food the more formula you use the less food you get. My friend told then she exclusively bf to get more food then with money they saved bought the formula.

    Yeah, they gave me one to rent (for free) for 1 month & when you're month is up, u take it back & if you're still breastfeeding they give u one to keep :D

    I did both. They just wont loan you a pump. But you will get formula too
