What are your recommendations that you have tried bottle feeding with breastmilk of course and that baby still took both breast and bottle? Your advice will be helpful...thanks ladies...

I breastfed for 11 months. Intorduced a bottle at 3 weeks (just one bottle/day) old and went back to work at 12 weeks post partum. I used Platex Drop Ins. I had no issues with nipple confusion or her taking the bottle. I used the nipples made for the bottles.

    Double post, sorry
  • Use these they make the baby work for it like the breast http://mobile.walmart.com/ip/The-First-Years-Breastflow-Bottle-Starter-Set-BPA-Free/10877977 and for pacis use nuk the nipples are better shapped for the babys mouth
  • @amab13 you don't need to remove the air from the bags anymore. I thought you needed to as well nb/c that's was what my mom told me, but after the pediatrician saw me doing it he told me they do not need the air removed anymore. I went hone and read the box if of liners and he was right.
  • I used drop in's for both mines and this one too . I use those flat top nipples(natural) ones I think that's what their called. Not the clear nipples that come with the bottles.
  • I use Dr browns whit ny medela pump works great baby has not problems using the this time too
  • I use breastflow bottles, my son never had a problem with them :)
  • I use breastflow bottles & ive had no problem. Ive heard soothie pacis work for breastfed babies but my son still prefers my nipple to them.
  • I used Breastflow with my first from the very begining. He did very well going back to the breast
  • 2 weeks breastflow and gumdrop binkys
  • Started at 4 weeks with avent, no problems. Paci I have used soothie & mam, she prefers mam
  • Dr. Brown is what I use. And I've bottle feed since we got home from the hospital, and she latches still like a champ. And I use smoothie pacifiers. I tried Nuk, and mam and neither worked for her.
