When did you start feeling contractions?

I'm 36+5 and yesterday my dr told me I'm 40% thinned, not dialated at all and I haven't felt a single contraction, I have a lot of bh but nothing painful. When did you start getting contractions and how quickly did you progress after?

    I know they say ull know when its real labour. It's true. Mine started as period pains, which were constant. Then all of a sudden it was on and off so I started timing. X

    i started to get them when I went into labor..and had my baby a few hours later (40wks)
    the same w/my first baby(39wks)

    I started to get mine at 36 weeks. You will know the difference between a contraction and a bh. I'm now 3 cm and 80% thinned out.

    @cfa how far along are you now? The dr told me I might not feel anything until I go into labor but I kinda want to know what I'm in for!

    Both times I didnt have contractions or pains till the day of. First time I gave 7 hours after the first contraction and second time I have birth 3 hours after ifelt the first contraction

    I had loads of early labour. Had contractions for 2 weeks before but they were on and off and stopped after sleeping. I gave birth at 40+1 after a stretch Nd sweep. Xx

    I am 29+4 and get bh constantly. And sometimes i get a painful or uncomfortable contraction. But im not dilated yet, thank goodness. Lol. With both my boys i had progress without feeling any bh or contractions. So good luck. I hope you make progress and go into labor.
