menstrual cramp feeling???

I'm 34+4 and tonight I started feeling period like cramps and I'm wondering if this is normal. It comes and goes within minutes. I also have no idea how braxton hicks feel for I can't tell when my stomach tightens on its own so I don't know when it happens. The cramping is mild but hasn't gone away in an hour. Any ideas??

    As long as they do not radiate through your hips and back, u are most likely having braxton hicks.... I am 32 weeks and have been having the same thing taking place... Good luck hon....

    @jnc121311 but my stomach doesn't feel rock hard like I heard they would with braxton hicks. I hope its nothing serious and just my body preparing for labor. Thanks!

    I had no idea how they felt either and had period like cramps then that went away and some days later I started having lower back pain then my water broke.

    The cramps started at like 38wks the lower back pain started at 39wks.

    I have been having them daily and i feel them in my legs too. So hopefully labor is close for me!
