My boy is 16days and its still hanging on tight. His maybe delayed because he had an IV in it in the NICU for 3 days. His is also deep in his belly button so I dont know if its exposed enough to dry quickly.
My baby's fell off in a week. & yes it's normal to have stuff in the belly button still for a few days. My baby had like this pus lookin stuff & a lil bit of blood. I would jus clean it everyday with a Q-tip & peroxide. Then after that it would have dry blood & now her belly button is nice & clean!
@excitedforoctober yeah butthat leftover stuff has been there since she was 4 days. Almost a month and its still there. The doctors said its okay to give her a bath and everything so I'm guessing its not a problem lol
