Infection?

I know i keep posting alot of post partum health question but i worry and get confused at times.
I went for a 2wk follow up from my c section and dr said it all looked good. I asked about swelling i had across over half of the incision. He said it was inflammation and was normal. I asked about the burning feeling, once again, inflammation and normal. So i think ok its fine and im on my way. Well i was just in the potty when i pressed down on it with some toilet paper and low and behold a small amount of brownish-green with a hint of blood came out on the paper. Normal? I think not. Looks like its gonna be back to the OB for me.

    Yeah he should of given you somthing for the inflammtion anyways... Some dr I swear are dumber then a box of rocks!

    Well im ibuprofen800 but it doesn't do anything for the inflammation.

    Yea.. i have an infection im 4 wk pp.. im sore as hell still. I had a vaginal birth..

    Im at the dr right now. Hopefully i don't have to get cut back open. Its a possibility. :-( hopefully antibiotics is all but Idk.

    So nurse says it looks ok and isn't open, maybe just a tiny spot and the drainage might be normal but still waiting on Dr to look at it. Maybe ill get antibiotics.

    Mine got infected. I was on two different antib. And they made me sick throwing up shitting myself sick. They also had to push on my incison to drain it god did it hurt but its fine now. Hopefully yours isnt as bad

    I've never had a C sec, but wouldn't it make sense to write you a script for antibiotics as you are leaving the hospital for more of a preventative measure? dr.s so that for other surgeries. It would save the patients a lot of time & pain, if you ask me.

    Dr said its not infected but there is a small Opening. He said sometimes water gets in and will do this.

    Then make sure you take a clean wash cloth and push on it after you get out of the shower its best if your sitting too. It will save your clothes and keep it from getting infected.

    I always put a clean dry wash cloth on it when i get out of the shower. Stuff only comes out when i press on it but its not enough to ruin anything. I make sure it stays clean and dry.

    Can you try another Dr? It sounds like its infected and opened too. I really hope you get to feeling better soon.

    mines did the same, it was infected and had drainage. I was cut back open(Ouch!) and had to stuff it with gauze for 2wks and was giving antibiotics. I would get a 2nd opinion. Take care of yourself, hope things turn out fine!

    Well the swelling and pain has gotten better. My body tends to do well with getting rid of infection without antibiotics. So its gotten better than what it was on its own.
