How many oz.'s did your baby drink at 10 days old?

Ashton was 9 lbs at birth! He started off with just breastmilk and I had to supplement for two days because he lost 11oz while in the hospital. He hasn't had formula in days because my milk came in. The first couple days home he was at 2oz and now the last few times he has had 4oz. When he finishes the 3 oz bottle he is still hungry! I also read that babies have a growth spurt around 7-10 days old! Is this normal? lol.

    I had 3 big babies. All drank about 4oz right away.

    Totally normal for his size. I say give him what he wants. Dont worry about it.

    Sounds normal to me, mine is 4 weeks and just went up to 3ozs last week and seems to be going to 4 this week, so I feel like she has been behind. But she was over 2 weeks early, so I'm not stressed. Every baby is different and sounds like he is catching up and growing healthy :)

    I ask these questions and my husband thinks I'm crazy and that I worry too much. He doesn't understand what goes on in a mothers head!!! Thank you ladies! :)

    3.5 oz. Every 3 hours..he was 9.4 at birth!

    My son 18days and he drink 3-4oz
    He was 7lbs 14oz when he was born
    At 2wk check up he was 8lbs 11oz

    Mine started at 1 oz when we finally got her eating on day 2. Shes 10 days old and now eats 1.5 to 2.5 . But she was 2 and a half weeks early and only 5lbs11oz. 5 and 4.5 when we left the hospital.

    My son was 4 weeks yesterday and has 6oz started of at 3oz then 4ozfrom a week old was 9lb13 born bigger babies eat more

    Very rare that a breastfed baby over eats. If they do, they spit it up cause of no room... even up to 1-2 hours after eating.

    My son was 8ibs 12.7oz at borth he was drinking 4oz a couple days later.

    In glad you posted this I was just going to ask if its normal for my 8 day old to want to eat all day. I'm breast-feeding and every hour since last night he wants to eat. He has been on my boob for 2 hours now. I'm guessing growth spurt then?

    @iibett no, creo que es normal. Mi nino peso 7.4 cuando nacio pero luego bajo a 6.15 y nomas comio 2oz por menos de una semana y subio a 3oz bien rapido! Es un comelon :)
