2mnth old acting weird today!!??

my 2 mnth old has ben acting weird today!!! on halloween!! wen I put her down she keeps throwing her arms to her side n breathin really weird n her face turns really red n her eyes freak out then she starts crying(after I pick her up) then shes okay..it scares me.. it probably happened 6 times today :( its happened b4 but it stopped for a while ... ????

    Dont worry. Mkst likely her eyes turned red cause she was fixing to cry.

    Sounds exactly like my daughter, she hates being put down. Now that she is older I can distract her with a toy. It's just a new phase the timing is strange but just a coincidence. :) I wouldn't worry but definitely bring it up at her next appointment.

    My son has been doing something similar, but he has really bad gas. He puts his arms by his side to push off and his face turns red because he is straining then he cries. But when I hold him with his belly to me he feels better. Idk if yours is the same thing but I can hear his gas, so you would know. Either way good luck! I hope you figure it out!

    It could just be her moro reflex. Sometimes if I set my daughter down just a little too fast she gets freaked out for a sec. But its a natural reaction because they feel like they're falling.

    My daughter does that mostly when she is getting a bath. she sticks her arms straight out to the side, her legs go straight out and she stops breathing and her face turns red, her eyes go crazy big and stained and she even strains her muscles so her body shakes kinda. She kinda looks like she's gunna explode! But she just explodes into a huge cry. It really scares me! Only once did she do that when she wasnt getting a bath. but I think she thought she was. anyways she's 4 weeks old tomorrow. She only does it once a bath when I first put her in the water

    But like @starrxoxo9 mentioned, I believe its moro reflex. Cuz I can tell she feels like she's falling
