Brody has been gassy (more so last weekend ) but still farts he doesn't seem to be in any pain at all but Brandon said its gotta be because I am breast-feeding and that his farting is not good for him and he should be switched to formula. I don't want to fight with him but I don't want to switch Brody either. How can I get him to understand breast milk is the best for him. He is working now so I can't bring him to brodys next appointment to talk to the Dr. Any ideas? I'm frustrated and hurt. At first he thought he wasn't getting fed because when I pump I only get about an oz so that was a fight until at his apt to get circumcised he gained 10 oz in less than a week now he knows brody is getting enough to eat. And brody seemed to be gassiest when I ate onions so I've quit eating those and he only farts a few times a day now which I think is normal. Sorry so long.

Just find stuff online about bfing and its benefits, there's lots there.

As for telling him that breastmilk is better than formula....formula is artificially manufactured and your body produces milk just for your baby! Dont let him talk you into switching! If that means an arguement then so be it! Your baby is worth it!! Your doing a great job keep up the good work!
@natashalynn he hasn't changed one poopy diaper and brody is 12 days old. He tried 2 times but once it was explosive and I thought it was better if I did it the 2nd he tried then brody kept pooping and Brandon started gagging lol.
I'm going to Google some information and maybe the Dr will have stuff when I take him for his 2 week check up.

@sunshinelove I'm standing my ground brody gets boob milk and I'm trying to pump more so Brandon can help and feel more involved. I'm hoping that will help with his anti boob milk lol.
