  • How old is he? My daughter had that once but I think it was the formula
  • @Proudmomma he's 7 weeks old and this happens once a day towards the end of the day
he just spits up alot of this clear stuff
but today he spit that up
    his drink similac Alimentum
  • Does he have a cold?
  • Is his formula powder or already mixed? Also it could be gunk left over Fromm birth or since I see he's not gaining weight that could be reflux. No weight gain is a big sign. I would make an appt and take him in.
  • @Jensensmommy15
he has been having a lil bit of a cough but no fever or nothing just like a 2 to 3 coughs since sunday
  • @Proudmomma :[
    yeah ive been suspecting reflux
    ill call tmrw
  • I was gunna say my son had snot come out but he has a cold so it could be that but I'd call the doctor to check.
  • My some on the alimentum and usually spits up clear. But I have never seen brown string looking things in his spit up. I'd take him in and take those pics with u! It will help. I had to record my sons weezing when he eats to his Dr and she listened to it and said oh its totally normal but now I know too cuz she actually heard the sound not just how I described it. If that makes sense I'm tired lol.
  • @Kingsmama yeah ill bring the pics
  • My son is also on the alimentum but its the already made formula. I noticed with the powder he would spit up clear and I could tell he wasn't feeling well so we went back to the already made formula and he still spits up but not clear just formula and I think he also as reflux
  • yeah my son is on alimentum and his spit up is sometimes clear. i think its because the formula is so thin. its not so much perfectly clear, its a little milky but could be considered clear compared to other formula spit up.
