I was told that the ideal temp for little ones is from 70 to 74 and treat them as you would yourself. Like if you're a little chilled, they probably are as well. So layer them as you would yourself.
  • Right now he is sleeping I have him onesie and swaddle with hat on. That's right???
  • Sounds good to me. :-) I generally keep mine with the onesie and swaddled too. She's been perfectly content. And our house ranges from 68-73.
  • I have heard what you are wearing plus one layer... my little one loves to be 'hot' he sleeps in a onesie, swaddle and (I know, I know bad me) a blanket. If I dont give him his blanket he will keep waking up until he gets it.... lol.. he is 4 weeks old today.
  • A nurse I had at the hospital told me 72. Our house is generally between 70-73. I live in TN so our falls are like that too. I've heard the rule of the amount of layers you have on plus one more.
  • They aren't supposed to sleep with hats on
  • My doc said anywhere between 68-70 and don't over dress.
