Okay so I got the depo shot like maybe 4wks ago now. And I started bleeding like I was having a period like 3days ago and then last night I started having horrible stomach pains but not cramps my blood was like a bright red?? And when I took the tampon out there was this thing that was thick on it so I rubbed it with a paper towel and it looked like the skin of chicken before you cook it.
Wth is that???
Should I go the er??
Is something wrong with me??

Okay well I called the advice nurse line and she wasn't much help just told me to go to urgent care. So I'm packing Baby's bag now and on my way.

Well the Dr I seen wasn't my Dr but he said that's normal for the depo shot?? Wth how the hell is passing something like that normal?? I would understand if it was a blood clot maybe but something that looks like chicken skin? No!
So if this is normal I'm never getting this shot again!! So I need to talk to my Dr about other choices for bc.

I know like how in the hell is that normal? Doesn't make sense to me. So yeah I'm changing my bc next month because "if" this does cause that then what else can it do to me?? So yeah definitely changing it! Oh! And when he checked me he said there was so scares it tearing or anything. So I'm like then where the hell did it come from my uterus?! And now that I think about it the last Time I had a miscarriage the ultrasound tech asked me if I passed something that looked lime raw chicken. But when I got there I asked for a pregnancy test and it was negative. Do you think I could io miscarried even though the test was negative?? @Samantha @mommimisha @erikamrscollins

Its like a clump of blood. But it didn't have a blood clot I had something that looked like chicken skin before you cook it and it was a pretty big size. @mommyof3girls

It's possible you had a MC possibly. It sounds a little like when you pass the sac (as I've had two MCs, I'm familiar with the look). Was it a tanish/grey color? Depo can cause MC so it's not that far fetched, but if you continue getting it regularly, that shouldn't happen again because it's really good about preventing pregnancy. Did they test you before you got the first shot? Did you pass any clots with the weird thing?

I had the depo shot but didn't have anything like that. I hated depo though and will never have it again. I gained weight no matter how much I exercised or ate right. I had weight problems until I got pregnant again. How long ago did you have your baby? I had a piece of my placenta show up about 4 wks pp and it was similar to what you described. Scared me to death!

I was on depo for 10 years and never had that and either has anyone else I know. Get a second opinion. Sounds like tissue

@rtmommy yes they gave me one, but do you think it could of been to early to detect? And no I didn't pass any clots.

@outlaw_sphinx he will be 3 months on the 21st. :-(
