Thrush ??? (kinda long)

I'm breastfeeding and my son has thrush his pediatrician called him in some medication for it but what do I need to use on my nipples or any medication I need to take to make sure he doesn't get it again or to make sure I dont transfer it right back to him ?

You can call your ob and see if you can get a prescription. Or you can use monistat on your nipples or i heard you can use gentian violet on nipples too.

What did they call in? My pediatritian just wrote me a prescription of something to put in my LO's mouth and said I could put it on my nipples too.

I found it at walgreens. Its not in the pharmacy area. It was in their really small ethnic section from a company called de la cruz. The section at my walgreens was close to health and beauty. But if yours don't carry it then it can be ordered.

I just got my daughters perscription yesterday n they told me to just rub some on my nipples...
