I am interested in your craigslist post - Awesome deal! -i am a friend to a homeless mother and she has a 7 week old that really needs the formula if u h ave it? We have no money but are looking to get him formula or he will starve please help me get him the Similac. If you still have it. Please have an op en heart this baby is starving.

This is a text I received about my post on Craigslist. I sent a reply back with "I'm concerned for the health of the baby. Should I notify CPS?" We live in Virginia and outside, its currently 37° and unsuitable conditions for a newborn. Should I really call CPS?

  • Wow thats intense. I would call. Better safe than sorry. Chances are its bullshit and they are just scammers but if it is true better to know you have done the right thing

    I agree w/ @tinka1326
  • Maybe they live in a shelter? But sounds fishy. I don't think cps would be the right thing. What would they even do? If you're homeless I'd think cps could only get you into a shelter.
  • Mmm.. idk I agree maybe a scam or sumthn I wuld think if she didn't have money or Anythang she wuld b breastfeeding ? I wouldn't think the hospital wuld let her leave wit a newborn wit no where to go I thought u had to give them a address ? But idk I hope its not tru !:( maybe call an tellm an c Wat they say
  • It sounds like a scam I live in new York the will just take the milk to the store and try to get the money for it to me its fishy :-S
  • I'm sorry sounds like a scam wic provides free formula
  • They probably just want to sell it
  • Formula is not.returnable is it?
  • I've come to the conclusion that they're a bunch of jerks using a baby to play on peoples emotions. They never sent me a text back. Go figure
