my little man is sick...

He has mucous in his throat I can hear it when he breathes n sometimes it seems like he chokes on it... idk what to do... I'm scared to even fall asleep cuz I. dont want him to choke while I'm sleeping.... how can I make him feel better n breath better?

    How old is he? Have u tried holding his mouth & blowing it so it come up thru his nose.

    Oh ok, I don't kno of any otc medicines for that but I would give the dr a call.

    My baby is 1 mo and has a bad cold. She'll start coughing and wind up choking on all the mucous. Our dr said to use lil noses saline drops and a bulb sucker. He said imagine how much you blow your nose when you have a cold, babies need to also, only they don't know how. A humidifier also helps. He said to use the baby Heimlich if she wont stop choking. I never worry about sleeping through her choking, its too startling.

    Ya I just got s humidifier.... with vicks stuff that goes with it I hope it helps the sucker thing doesn't even fit in his nose so that doesn't help me out to much ill Ho buy some saline drops tomorrow .... I. Just want my littlw guy to get better
