If I'm having menstrual like cramps on and off are those considered contractions? Sorry I'm a ftm and still shocked this baby could come anytime

thats what my contractions felt like was menstrual cramps just jacked up more they were more painful

Only if your stomach gets hard all over, then yes. thats how mine are. Been having them a few weeks now.
