my son loves bath time!! he is now 8 weeks old and we grt in the tub and play. after I'm done washing him daddy comes in and gets him while I get cleaned up!
I think it's a great bonding experience I think it even made my little one love the water more. He's almost 3 now, so the mommy and kiddo baths have tapered off, but I recommend it to anyone that's comfortable.
I don't dissagree with bathing with baby I probably will when he is a lil older he's 5 weeks now probably at 8 weeks I will but for now it's the only place that I can relax and just be baby free for 30 mins of the day.
My baby boy is 1 month old in 4 days and I also have a 3 yr old. Once a week we all do bath time together, Hunter (baby) lies on my chest and Harley plays with his toys down the other end
I take a shower with my daughter. She's 4 months and she hated her baths and would scream till she would make herself throw up. I just take me shower then bring her in with me I leave a diaper on her at fist cause she's really slippery. Then take it off and wash were her diaper was. She loves it! Now she get excited when shes in the bathroom and we get her undressed.
I ocasionally bath with my baby! he will b 6 months on sunday! he loves his baths and i just like havin a bath with him so we can play and splash about! he has a bath baby support which he lies in! im not sure i cld hold him in the bath as i wld be scared of him slippin out ny hands! then when hes had enough my bf takes him out and dresses him while i have a shower on my own!
I am going to once my daughter can hold her head up. And I'm 17 and still would hop in the shower with my 13yr sister or mom in a hurry. We always have. I understand if it was opposite sexes but my daughter & I have the same parts, so its not awkward. but I also breastfeed her, so that's let me open up to not feeling weird. I mean my whole family + husbands family has seen me breastfeed lol. Not everyone is a sick perv. My husband was molested by his step mom. I've never been molested. And don't even get those "turned on" feelings when I breastfeed like some moms do.
