So my daughters dad just left us to move back to where he is from which is Florida. I'm in missouri. How do I go about the whole child support process and how long will it take.
I'm going through the same thing with my oldest. The will search his SS# but if he is not using it to work it might b a little hard to prove he is working. He would have to travel to the state were the petition was filled, the court can serve him. If u moved u can keep ur address confidential. Good luck.
Well I know he is not working. I'm just scared that I won't get any help from him. I know the address where he is supposedly staying. Do you think they will ever find him if he is not working
Do u know if he's working at all? If he is not working he still needs to pay even if it's the minimum (depending on the state ur in) I mean he has to live of something.
Well when he left he told me he was staying with his sister. She doesn't make him work. I know for a fact he is not working. I guess I'm worried that since he is not working the state won't be able to find him. Or will they find him no matter what.
They'll find him...whether he's working or not they still could make him pay especially if you or your child receives government assistance like medicaid/TANF/foodstamps
