Dog-neglect. I'm guilty!

Oh man. Ever since Jordan was born, my beloved puppy was demoted to just a dog. She doesn't get as much love as she used to. Well tonight.. karma bit us in the ass!!

My hb let her out and we both forgot about her. She's never out for more than a few minutes unless we're outside. Well we suck and didn't remember until a good 45 mins later! Thank God she came back when we called for her. She was covered in mud and another dog's slobber. . Poor pup. We gave her a bath a bone n lotsa hugs.

    Guilty of kitty demotion here. Have two cats for about 7 years and were my kids before I had my daughter. Now I feel bad when I open a can of food and put it in their dish, feel like I should give them napkins and utensils.

    I have to admit I am guilty as well. With the baby and my husband being deployed I lack giving them the attentioni did before. They have been having to sleep on the floor Nd they are not liking it.

    I'm guilty too...my bulldog was the baby! Now just a pain in the ass....I know how awful!

    Guilty! I used to come home from work and give so much attention to my dog and now I just step over her to get to my baby boy :( aaaaaaaaw I feel so bad now!

    My dog doesn't get attention anymore unless I have company over who likes dogs or we go home for a weekend. Being alone with 2 kids and a dog is hard...I feel like I don't give my 3 yr old as much attention cuz I'm breastfeeding and it feels like I'm always nursing. I would give my dog away if my husband would let me

    I was so preoccupied yesterday with finishing my christmas shopping then getting home and fixing dinner, then taking care of the 2 kids I totally forgot to feed my dogs... Feel bad just saying it :( my animals are lucky my husband pets them all the time cause I hardly ever have time.

    I'm glad I'm not the only one. I feel bad but at the same time, now all of her bad manners Really stick out now! Like how she jumps on ppl to say hello, she gets too hyper and wont listen when we tell her to settle.. or she just won't listen period. We're definitely working on correcting that instead of spoiling her.

    But yea.. I told my hb last night we gotta do better w.Cali!

    @kristaf22 so sorry to hear about your boxer!! Is that a common thing for your dog?
