THUNDERCATS A GO! UPDATE...BIRTH STORY AT BOTTOM!
I like that movie, Juno....lol Well I decided to go to the mall and walk. I wanted to pick up a few items for LO's pics she will be taking in the hospital. It was all my mothers idea since she saw how miserable I was. Well we got to the mall and eveything was fine. I was walking my butt off...lol Then about 2 hours in when we were just about to leave this intense pain in my stomach hit. Then it radiated to my back. O man walking was a challenge. Then the look on peoples faces was priceless. The walk back to the car was excruciating. My mother kept asking me if she should call 911. I said no since I don't like that kind of attention, especially in a mall. So I toughed it out and finally made it. The contractions were beyond hurting at this point.
When I got home, they hurt, but they were tapering off. My mother said if you want things to progress you have to walk. Then I remembered that I did tell myself I would do that if this were to happen again. So I walked around the house. I made my ODD time the ctx with an app on my phone. They were 2-3 min apart but I wanted to wait on the dr's call back because I refused to be turned back again from L&D. Dr said to come in. By this time I barely felt anything and I was becoming disappointed that it might be another false alarm. All I was feeling was BH at this point. Well they put me on the monitor then the resident came to check me. Why he decided to ask me questions during the cevical check is beyond me but I couldn't answer him. He was in there longer than usual then he turned to the nurse and said "she's 3-4 and I felt the baby flip" HALLELUAH!!!! He said "we're going to keep you" I'm surprised I made it to 3-4 so quick and I'm not in any pain, YET. I told them I want the epi as soon as I can get it though...lol
So I shall keep everyone updated. I can't believe this is happening, I never thought she would come...lol I guess I will have a Christmas Eve baby, o well...lol

@TricesBaby try walking. I was so frustrated that I didnt believe that it would work. I almost told my mother, forget it, but for some reason I just went. That little last minute decision determined me going into labor or being miserable for another day...lol O yeah I was due the 31st
@jennalynne87 walk walk walk. Dont get lazy when you feel the contractions. Work with them by walking. Sometimes the body just needs that push.
and ur lucky u don't feel the contractions! i need some of that pain free dust LOL

@angel26 um, excuse me lady, um...are you going to heve us in suspense with the pics you owe us? I'M DYING TO SEE YOUR LITTLE GIRL...ITS BEEN 10 DAYS...LOL
@everyone I will have my story up later. One thing I remember about being in a hospital is that you don't get any sleep...smh There's always someone knocking on your door. Baby girl is going to he nursery tonight though. I need onelast nightof sleep before I go home...lol
So my dr started me on pitocin at 4: 10 am because I wasnt progressing on, my own. I was terrified of getting the pit but at the same time I didnt want to be in labor for hours. Not too long after getting it I started to feel the contractions. I started to feel bummed because labor was going so good so far and now I have to feel pain...lol The contractions were gett ing stronger but I was trying my best to breath through them. After awhile the nurse walked in to turn the pit up
The nurse walked in AGAIN and asked me if I was feeling any pain, I told her yes. She said I shouldnt be feeling any pain with the epi so she sent the anesthesiologist back in and he gave me some med to help with the pain but all it did was made it worse! By this point I was gearing myself up for excruciating pain. But the nurse walked in and asked if I feel pain. I told her that I felt ALOT of pressure. She said"yeah, I think it may be time. Let me get the dr." I was shocked! The pain was BAD but not unbearable yet. Now its time to push????? It didn't make any sense to me...lol The dr checked me (mind you the epi worked down there so everytime she checked me I didnt feel anything) She said "yup shes 10, I can feel the baby's head coming down" I couldnt believe this was happening! They set up and the nurse said if I push well enough she will be here in 5 min, because her head is right there. While I was pushing I felt nothing. Only enough pressure to help me know when to push.
I pushed for less than 10 min and she was out
Well Im sorry this is so long but thats my birth story. Precious is in her playpen counting sheep right now. Its 2: 55 am here. I had to wake her up twice to feed and change her. She wouldnt get up...lol She is truly a blessing and Im so glad she is here. She is the perfect Christmas present
